Karen Hanes is an experienced HR leader with more than 20 years supporting large, complex organizations through strategic workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. A Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM member, she brings strong expertise in HR operations, compliance, and leadership development—capabilities that align well with federal workforce priorities.
Her background includes HR roles with major corporations such as IBM, General Electric, BE Aerospace, and Nabisco, as well as leadership positions with Matter Brothers Furniture, PAYCHEX, and Wendover Art Group. A certified Zenger Miller trainer, Karen has extensive experience designing and delivering leadership and professional development programs.
Karen holds an MBA in Management and Organizational Behavior from the University of Central Florida and a BA in Liberal Arts with a Spanish minor from the University of Tampa.
